Turbo's Info...

I am already spayed, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, and not good with kids.

Turbo's Story...
Big fan of: Being amazingly sweet and affectionate. Turbo a certified sweetheart who loves to snuggle with her human companions. She spent several months in a foster home earlier this summer where she enjoyed curling up around her foster mom’s neck and riding on her shoulder around the house like a parrot!

Not a big fan of: Turbo is a bit skittish, and can be scared by sudden movements and loud noises. She also may prefer to not share her ‘furever’ home with another kitty.

A little more… Turbo has some behaviors which require a patient and experienced cat owner who is willing to work with her. Her foster mom noted that patience is key with Turbo– however if you have patience with herm you will wind up with the best cat in the world!

Dream home: Turbo will do best in an adults-only home where she can give and receive plenty of affection and attention. She has been in foster homes with other pets, but may also prefer to be the only kitty in her ‘purrmanent’ home. Slow introductions to new places, people, and other pets will benefit her in adapting to her environment with success. Turbo is an incredibly sweet and affectionate cat who never stops purring! Can you give Turbo the loving home she’s always dreamed of?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Turbo, a Chicago Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
