My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I found Miss Dolly at a little diner near the Ocoee River. She had been hanging out on the sidewalk, with no humans in sight, for quite some time. When I got her in the car, she was positively thrilled and could not stop giving kisses to everyone.

She is currently in foster care with me. She is right at one year of age, and is still quite puppy-like; in her ways. She has absolutely no bad habits. She is happy to sleep in her crate or in the bed with me and her foster-brothers. She loves to play in the yard with her toys, and she also loves snuggling with me on the couch. She is completely housebroken, loves riding in the car, and gets along splendidly with the other dogs she is currently residing with. I have not seen her around any cats, but she is SO friendly, I would imagine she would do well with them.

One thing I need to mention, Dolly has some very unusual scarring down her front legs, and on her side. The scars are bilateral and completely symmetrical. The vet has no idea what they are from and was as perplexed as I am. Amazingly, she is not at all fearful in light of the fact she has endured something unpleasant in her lifetime. I refer to the scars as her beauty marks...they are part of what makes her extra special. Also, Dolly needs to have a fenced in yard to ensure her safety while she burns off that puppy energy of hers!

She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, de-wormed, and is heat worm negative. Her adoption fee is $250. If you think Dolly would make a wonderful family member for you, please contact me (Amy) at aobrien13@att.net or Beth Ann at searching4utopia1707@gmail.com. Thank you for considering a rescue pet.
