My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Apply For Maggie Now Please use ID: Maggie (5028). .

*Application required to schedule a visit with any dog, all dogs are in foster homes.

This is Maggie, a sweet loving young puppy. She is about 10-12 months old and only 35 lbs, she will probably max out at 40 lbs. A red nose pit with great fawn coloring. She is a powerhouse full of unending energy. But when she sleeps, she sleeps hard.

She has been in a foster home since the end of June. She loves to run around and play, she will wear out any other dog in the house and move onto the next one if available. She is in a foster home with 2 other dogs and several cats. She does well with the older cats, but doesn't know her own strength with the kittens. She has been introduced to kids, but with her energy she would need to be watched around little ones. She has gotten along with all dogs she has been around, male and female.

Maggie is just a love. She is very happy to wriggle onto your lap and take a nap, good thing she is on the smaller side. She is crate trained and housebroken. She is still a puppy and will chew on things left within her reach. If you give her a bone of her own she is happy to chew on that instead. She would benefit from an obedience class and she is super smart. She has learned very quickly that if she wants her food dish she needs to go into her crate and sit. She will come when called if there are no other distractions, doesn't happen much with a curious puppy.

Please sponsor this dog, maggie has needed several trips to the vet while awaiting her home, please help us continue to care for this sweet girl till her family can find her.
