Axl's Story...
Meet Axl!! This little guy will be available for adoption after 10/19, when he will be 8 weeks old. This munchkin has a lot of personality in a little body. If he's hungry he lets you know it loud and clear, but when he gives you eskimo kisses he totally makes up for it. He's very playful with other dogs and just wants a home to call his own. Axl would be a great addition to any pack.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Axl, a Huntersville Australian Shepherd/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd/Labrador Retriever for sale in Huntersville, or seeking a Australian Shepherd/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Huntersville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Huntersville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Huntersville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Australian Shepherd/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Huntersville paves the way for another one to be saved.
