Raven's Story...
Raven 3 years old and very very smart. When we rescued her she seemed to have had alot of training in protection. She is very guarded when it comes to her person or any child. She is good with other dogs unless there are around any kids then she will react and protect. She is also a great swimmer and will save you if you are in need. She will only go to a person I feel that is perfect for her because she could be dangerous in the wrong hands. I love her and only want what is best for her and she will stay here at the rescue until that perfect home is found. I want a home that has No kids, No small animals and they can have 1 other med or large dog she is good with all dogs small or big but like I said very protective to her owner or kids and could pose a threat to the small dogs if they got near the kids and you weren't watching which could also endanger the kids if there in the way. She knows all commands and is fully house broken. She is not a dog for everyone only a special experienced person who does alot of activities. If you want to discuss her and learn more about her please contact me at jzlawn68@aol.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Raven, a Quincy German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Quincy, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Quincy.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Quincy already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Quincy breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Quincy paves the way for another one to be saved.
