Facts about Sammy

  • Breed: Staffordshire Bull Terrier/Labrador Retriever Mix
  • Color: Tan/Yellow/Fawn
  • Age: Young
  • Size: Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
  • Sex: Male
Sammy is about 60 lbs, great with other dogs, super super affectionate, house trained, great with new people. 3-4 years old. I would imagine great with kids but I haven't seen it, nor have I seen him with cats. Sammy belonged to some friends of his foster dad, but they had to move without pets so they found him another home. After that he somehow ended up at the pound and the original owners were notified. Since he such an amazing dog, the original owners found a friend to pull him out of the shelter in order to find him his forever home. He lives with Adam and his 3 other large breed dogs. Adam travels a lot for work and Sammy has adjusted just fine. He is looking for the right home for Sammy since 4 dogs is a bit much. Let him know if you might be interested in meeting him. This is a courtesy post for Valley Dogs Rescue.

About Valley Dogs

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a pending non-profit, no-kill rescue organization dedicated to rescuing and rehoming adoptable cats and dogs. We have over 40 years of combined rescue experience and knowledge.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We do not have a kennel / shelter type of facility. We believe the most effective and successful way to match families and pets is to foster them in our own homes. Ultimately fostering our rescue animals in homes rather than a kennel environment allows us to give you complete information on the pet's behavior and how well he / she will fit with your family and lifestyle.

Our Adoption Process...

At Valley Dogs we make every effort to place the right animal in the right home. To aid in this goal, we use trained Adoption Consultants to help you select the best match for your lifestyle. You will meet with an Adoption Consultant and discuss your lifestyle, activity level, expectations, likes/dislikes, and past experiences with animals. Your consultant will then recommend the best match for your family and your lifestyle.
