Earline's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Earline's Story...
I may be getting up there in years but I just call it "aged to perfection" I LOVE to play and pounce around and I am still very active. I listen well and walk nicely on a leash. My big floppy ears were infected when I was rescued and my foster mom has been working on cleaning them and keeping medicine in them and they are feeling much, much better. I love having them rubbed. I hear we are going to a dog park next week and I can't wait to stretch my stubby legs out and shake off these winter blues. Spring has sprung and I am ready to find my new home with you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Earline, a Powell Basset Hound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Basset Hound for sale in Powell, or seeking a Basset Hound dog from a breeder in Powell.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Powell already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Powell breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Basset Hound breeders who help with Basset Hound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Powell paves the way for another one to be saved.
