Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi I'm Ralph (or Ralphie Boy!) I'm a laid back, middle aged beagle boy who likes food, laying in the sun, food, snuggles on the couch, food, good sniffs in the back yard, food, oh and did I mention food? I'm a very social boy, and do great with both the girl and boy beagle that live in my foster home. I haven't been around cats, but I'm great with the toddler human that hangs around (as long as there's no food around). I am pretty gentle on a leash, and totally house trained, not one accident in my foster home! I sleep in my crate at night and hang out there during the day when no one is home, and do pretty good with it.

I've definitely had a rough start to my life. I don't like it when people raise their voice, and I really don't like that squirt bottle. I will stop what I'm doing immediately to avoid being squirted! When the doctors
checked me when I came to my foster home, I had a lot of issues. Almost all have them have been resolved, and now I only have 1 pill to take. Hopefully with someone taking good care of me and helping me stay active and eating right, that's all I'll need to live a long healthy life.

I would do great with almost any family, even young kids if they have been around dogs all their life. I am very food motivated and am still learning proper manners about food, so I sometimes grab things I shouldn't. I've gotten so good, I'll leave the other dogs alone until they finish their food, it’s just people food I can't resist...it just smells so good!!! I'm getting better every day, and will still need my people to work with me to keep improving.
