Isabelle, Giselle, Christian & Tristan are all litter mates. These cuties, along with their mom, were living as strays in St. Louis and wandered upon a couple's porch looking for food and shelter. Sadly, the husband viewed them as a nuisance and rather than wait for help to show up the next day to take them to rescue, he took them to a high-kill shelter to be put down. Fortunately, one of our fellow rescue friends found out about it and pulled them out of there just in the nick of time. When we took them in, all five kitties were horribly sick with upper respiratory infection so we treated them with medication and lots of TLC. They are now healthy, happy and full of energy. Their mom has been adopted so now the kittens are looking for their forever homes. Isabelle, or Izzy as we like to call her, is the beautiful short-haired torbie with white. She is quite the character and will roll on her back and show her tummy when she's excited and wants attention. Giselle is the gorgeous medium-haired tortie with the orange stripe down her nose. She is very active and playful and loves to wrestle with her siblings. Christian is the handsome medium-haired orange tabby boy with the white feet. He is inquisitive and can usually be found high on his cat tree, surveying his domain. Tristan is the medium-haired orange tabby without white. He is the most mellow and laid-back of the group but he does like to play and chase with his brother and sister. The pictures do not do justice to the beauty of these kitties. They are stunning! Initially, they were shy around people due to a lack of socialization, but they have really come out of their shells and have blossomed into friendly kitties. Like most kittens, they are pretty energetic and are learning manners about not playing too rough with their humans. As such, they would do best in a home without young children. Other cats would be great for them as they would be bored as only kitties. They have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, tested negative for FelV/FIV and are microchipped - DOB 4/18/14.
