Oldie-But-Goodie's Story...
My name is Oldie-But-Goodie. I am an 11 to 12 year old male cat who was left in my apartment when my owner moved away. It was pretty scary with no one to feed me or make sure I had water. I was lucky when the landlord showed up and found me. I was dehydrated but friendly enough for him to be able to get me in a box and take me to Kitty Connection. I was walking funny because my claws had grown in to the pads of my feet. The vet took care of me but my pads are pretty worn and sore. I am very friendly and lovable. I just enjoy someone petting me. I get along with other cats. I hope it won’t be long before I have a home of my own. I may be an older cat but as my name says I’m still a goodie and will be a great companion to someone who wants a cat on their lap.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Oldie-But-Goodie, a Medford Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Medford, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Medford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Medford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Medford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Medford paves the way for another one to be saved.
