Tyson's Story...
Hi I'm Tyson...named after a famous boxer. I was first spotted by some nice rescue ladies when I was being turned into the shelter with my brothers. Where I lived before that day was pretty terrible. I really didn't get any love or attention and by the time I got to the shelter, we all felt bad.

The person who worked at the shelter waved down these rescue ladies and said, "These guys have to go now. They are dying." How scary! So we were rushed to the vet and sadly, two of my brothers did not survive. Little Franklin and Ears were just too dehydrated, to weak. I was happy to be rescued, but sad because I had to say goodbye to my brothers.

I'm so glad that my other brother, Oscar, survived with me. And that's how we got our names - Oscar (de la Hoya) and (Mike) Tyson. I just go by Tyson....sometimes T...sometimes Bit because I'm a little bit, but we are fighters!

Right now I am enjoying the good life in my foster home in Memphis. I am receiving all the love and care I need to be big and strong and am just starting to look around for my forever home.

My adoption fee is $450 and will include my vaccinations, health certificate and transportation fee. If you are interested in giving me that forever home I'm looking for, please email and ask for an adoption application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tyson, a Rochester Retriever (Unknown Type)/Boxer puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Retriever (Unknown Type)/Boxer for sale in Rochester, or seeking a Retriever (Unknown Type)/Boxer puppy from a breeder in Rochester.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rochester already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rochester breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Retriever (Unknown Type)/Boxer breeders who help with Retriever (Unknown Type)/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rochester paves the way for another one to be saved.
