Dirk is a highly active boy who still has a lot of rambunctious puppy behavior in him.
Big fan of: He loves people and other dogs, especially other bully breed types who love to rough house.
Special Features: Dirk will need a family with lots of time and patience, who will provide a structured schedule with lots of boundaries. He has a lot to learn as far as not jumping and mouthing people when he gets excited. He will need to be signed up for positive based obedience classes before his adoption can be finalized. Dirk is highly food motivated and should do well in obedience classes; he really needs it to learn acceptable behavior when engaging people.
Dream Home: He is not suitable for a home with children; he is just too rough when he plays. A home with cats would not be a good match either, as he is less likely to respect a cat's space.
