Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Dogworks rescued Bugs from an overcrowded rural shelter in July 2014. He was picked up as a stray with a wound to his tail, which has been docked. He has a beautiful coat that is mostly white with a few black spots. We are not sure of the breed mix: Dalmatian, pointer, retriever, or maybe something else. Bugs is now approximately 21 months old.
He is very affectionate, and love to cuddle and play fetch and tug of war. He is already trained on an invisible fence. He loves to be with people and is eager to please. He does fairly well walking on a leash and he has been crate trained. He also knows basic commands.
He is very friendly with strangers and children but he is a larger dog and may jump if he gets excited, so a home with older children would be best for him.
Bugs was adopted a year ago, but he is showing some dominance with the owners other male dog and needs to find a new home. He will do best as an only dog, or to be in a home with a female or smaller non-dominant dog. He is neutered and current on vaccinations, but he does have seizures that are treated with medication (phenobarbital) that will need to be continued and monitored. His adoption fee is $100.00
