My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

THIS IS A COURTESY LISTING. HARLEY IS NOT AN HTHH DOG AND ALL INQUIRIES WILL GO DIRECTLY TO THE OWNER.

We are needing to rehome our 1 year reverse brindle pit mix pup. He is a 41lbs, full of energy and a lap dog at heart. We have two young kids (3 and 5) which are too small for Harley's playful demeanor. He loves to play fetch and go on walks. He does well camping and he know the commands, sit, lay, stay, down, take. We think he would really benefit from continual training and we did positive (treat) training. He has had some training at rover stay over. We currently do not have a fenced yard, but would recommend one for Harley. He is not a runner, but is pretty territorial and protective of his property. Harley is crate trained and that is where he stays when we are gone. He does have some separation anxiety, so leaving him for long periods of time would not be good for him. We currently board him at rover stay over and he feels very comfortable there. He doesn't seem to like water, but he hasn't had a lot of experience with it. Harley is one that takes time to adjust to changes, he needs to know that he can trust people and new situations. When meeting new people and or animals he will need time and space to process. Once Harley is comfortable and he gets to know someone, he is great and wants to cuddle. We are having a hard time giving him up, we have all become very attached to him, but we feel this is what is best for Harley and our family. We are looking for a home that has enough time and energy for Harley and is willing to continue training him. He has a crate, leash, and bed. Harley has been neutered and microchipped. We recently had him dewormed and he has had bortella for boarding purposes. We also have a 14 year old German Shepherd Mix that he gets along with well, but she is too old to give him the amount of play he needs.
