My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

9/8/14-Sambo has a sad terrible story of the typical dog life in Rural MS. Sambo Was found hiding under a runned down trailer, scared and in pain. A call came in from the trailer owner to remove him from under the trailer and off the property..We had no idea what the extent of injuries were or what from..We later found out after the xrays at vet visit confirmed he was shot with high power riffle..went through elbow and gashed inner thigh..
Insanely Typical is all i can say..its so common and pretty much allowed to shoot a free roaming dog in the south...this guy is soo sweet, loves other dogs..is afraid of cats, loves kids and all people, what threat did he pose to the shooter?? that hes a pit mix?? Also did i mention he knows commands and his housebroken..Did this shooter shoot his own dog?? is this a neighbors dog?? This makes so sense at all..the last to dogs with shot wounds have been family dogs, not strays or ferrell..
Well we had him treated and we took off his front leg..hes been the best sport and just so grateful. Hes a true lover boy and we are honored to have him..everyone he meets he puts on his charm on!! He will even still gives u hugs tripod style!!

10/3/14- Sambo was free to leave the state after long recovery and is now here with us!! Hes now for adoption!!! He brightens everyone's day!! And fits right in!!
