Meet one of our special CRT puppies: Bobby. Bobby is a medium-to-long haired Chihuahua who is primarily tan with black pepper highlights. We love his floppy ears. He is adorable.

Bobby is one of four puppies that we call the "Broken Bow Puppies". Here is their story: In mid-June, CRT was contact by a family in Broken Bow, Oklahoma. Their mother had just passed away, and left several Chihuahuas behind. The family asked if CRT would be willing to take some and re-home them. Of course we said “yes”. When they arrived, one of the Chihuahuas, Duchess, was pregnant. One week later, on June 20th, she had four bouncing baby boys!

Bobby is one of the four puppies. He has a very high energy level. Bobby is very playful, and loves life. Bobby gets along great with both the small dogs and large dogs in his foster home. He especially loves to chase and wrestle with his 4 legged brothers. Bobby also loves to run and run in the yard! His favorite game is to play chase outside where he can let loose and run like the wind! Bobby doesn't play much with toys. But he is really enjoying chewing on raw hides!

Bobby loves everyone - he does not know a stranger. He is very friendly and happy to greet everyone. He has been wonderful with children too. Bobby loves to cuddle with his family at night when they are relaxing around the TV. He is going to need an energetic family who has alot of time to play, then he will totally crash and cuddle with you as you unwind at night!

Bobby is really smart. He is crate trained and will sleep in his crate at night. He is also already about 75% potty trained, and will go on the pee pee pads when he is inside. We believe he will be fully trained in no time at all!

Bobby is the largest of the puppies at about 6 pounds and may grow a little more (his Mom is about 8 pounds). He is very friendly and gets along with everyone. Bobby is a super happy dog. If you enjoy energy, fun and love in your home, this is the little guy for you!

Bobby is neutered, micro chipped, up-to-date on shots, HW negative and on heartworm prevention. He is ready to join a loving family - could that family be yours?

This dog is a CRT rescue. Reference checks, adoption contract and $225 adoption fee is required. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bobby - Puppy, a Dallas Chihuahua puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Dallas, or seeking a Chihuahua puppy from a breeder in Dallas.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Dallas already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Dallas breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Dallas paves the way for another one to be saved.
