Dakota's Story...
Hi there! Dakota here! I'm a 4 month old hound mix. I'm up to date on vaccines and already neutered. I have so much love to give you! I enjoy playing with other dogs, being outside, tug of war, snuggling, and chew toys. My Foster mom taught me how to kennel up and to go potty outside. I'm also learning how to walk on a leash. Initially, I may appear to be timid, but I assure you that with just a little bit of encouragement, I'm very loving and playful. I sleep through the night and patiently wait to get out of my kennel. I hope you'll give me a chance to be your furever friend.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dakota, a Walker Hound (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Walker, or seeking a Hound (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Walker.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Walker already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Walker breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Walker paves the way for another one to be saved.
