Spangles's Story...
Name: Spangles
Breed: Setter/Spaniel type mix
Age: Young Adult
Gender: Male

Spangles is a young adult male Setter/Spaniel type mix, a submissive and affectionate dog who landed in the shelter and is so bewildered by what happened. He's a little shy but sit down and he will be in your lap in 2 seconds flat. Spangles is comfortable with kids, likes other dogs and really imitates them. His ideal home would have another dog for him to follow and learn from. He appears to be new to living in the house, but with his dog foster friends as role models is learning the house training.

Requirements: Another dog

You can email kladams4545@gmail.com with questions and for a preadopt application. This dog has been spayed/neutered, vaccinated as age appropriate, tested for heartworm disease if age appropriate, and dewormed.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Spangles, a Minneapolis Setter (Unknown Type)/Spaniel (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Setter (Unknown Type)/Spaniel (Unknown Type) for sale in Minneapolis, or seeking a Setter (Unknown Type)/Spaniel (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Minneapolis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Minneapolis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Minneapolis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Setter (Unknown Type)/Spaniel (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Setter (Unknown Type)/Spaniel (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Minneapolis paves the way for another one to be saved.
