Meet Ozzy:

Ozzy is just over a year old and is ready to rock your world! Ozzy's favorite thing to do is to go to the dog park. For one, it involves going for a ride in the car and he just can't help but stick his head out the window, even if its cold outside! Second, Ozzy loves to run and play with all of his canine friends and chase balls, sticks, or anything else you can throw. Third, Ozzy loves to visit with all of the people at the dog park who pet him and give him treats. Ozzy loves to show everyone how smart he is and sits on command and gives paw too!

After all of this excitement, Ozzy likes to come home and snuggle with his foster mom on the couch. After such a fun day, this sweet boy may even give her a kiss or two. This happy go lucky guy is just looking for a human to call his own.

Unless otherwise indicated, all Double Dog Rescue dogs have received the following before being available for adoption:

Thorough veterinary examination

All routine annual vaccinations, including Rabies, DHLPP, Bordatella (kkennel cough), Heartworm Test, Fecal Test, Deworming

Spay/Neuter

All dogs are quarantined for two weeks outside of the shelter (puppies four weeks) to ensure they don't break with disease.

If any dog shows any signs of disease or ailment, DDR vets the dog until he or she has a clean bill of health to the best of our knowledge. This includes anything from being treated for Heartworm, Broken Leg, Cherry Eye, Torn ACL, Upper Respiratory etc.)

NOTE: Dogs who were treated for Heartworm can test positive up to 4-6 months after last treatment. All dogs are immediately put on Heartguard/Ivermectin following the treatment to kill the Heartworm larvae. All dogs should be re-tested after 4 months from the last Heartworm treatment.
