10/04/14 Serta is guessed to be a 2-3 year old, cattle dog mix. Serta is a sweet and loving young lady. Serta was found June 10 with a horribly embedded rope around her neck and severely emaciated. She was taken to Horseshoe Animal Hospital where the rope was removed. For awhile there, she had lost her vision too. But through all her treatments and bandage changes, with people she didn't even know, she was wonderful! Always happy, tail wagging, and giving kisses. As if that wasn't enough, the poor girl had to endure heartworm treatment also. Once again, she came through like a champ. Now Serta is ready to know what it's like to have a real home with lots of love. She knows some basic commands like "sit", "down", "shake", and "stay" and she walks well on a leash. Serta would be best as an only dog and in a home with no children. Her adoption fee is $145.00. She is spayed, current on vaccinations, heartworm neg, has her annual rabies vaccination, dewormed and micro-chipped.
