My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cashus has a sad story in that his family really didn't want to give him up but unfortunate circumstances has necessitated their need to move in with family for several months and they are unable to take him with them. As time is running out and not bearing the thought of dropping him off at a shelter his family is hoping to find him a permanent home with someone that will love him as much as they do.

Cashus is a three year old male that has grown up in a family with small children that he adores, and other dogs that he gets along well with. He has shown some issues with other male dogs but he will be neutered and those issues should take care of themselves. Aside from that he is a big cuddle bunny with his family, allowing the children to do whatever without any signs of aggravation or aggression. He would do best in a family with older children that would enjoy playing with him and being included in family outings or just playing around the house.

Cashus is a big dog and weighs 85 lbs. We would like to see him go to a home with someone who has large breed experience that would continue working with him to ensure he stays the loving, well mannered dog that he currently is. He loves attention and is willing to participate in anything that is fun. He is used to being left alone for 6 to 8 hours a day, knows his basic commands and sleeps in his crate at night.

***If there is anyone that would be interested in helping Cashus stay with his current family by fostering him, please contact our foster coordinator Jackie at, jackiedaniels@xplornet.com for further information. All medical care, food, etc would be paid for by his family, as well as a small monetary contribution for his care.***
Cashus will be neutered prior to adoption.
