Butch's Story...
Butch is a 7 year old Min Pin, with natural ears and a docked tail. We are sure that he has quite a story to tell, but since he hasn't figured out how to form words, we can only guess at his past (which isn't very pretty). He was found as a stray and his owner was identified, but decided he wasn't wanted any more and didn't come to pick him up. Butch does *try* to tell you how he is feeling - he is vocal and will let you know when he is feeling insecure, when he needs something, or of course, when someone comes to the door!

Butch gets along well with other dogs, and children too (so long as they are gentle with him). He hasn't met any kitties yet, but should be fine with dog savvy cats. He is housetrained on a schedule and an overall easy guy to have around! Butch is a lower energy Min Pin - he doesn't mind going for walks and does well on a leash, but he won't go crazy if he doesn't have a walk every day. Like all good Min Pins, he loves to snuggle, and is looking forward to a home with laps and cozy blankets to welcome in the impending winter. Is his new home yours?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Butch, a Denver Miniature Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Miniature Pinscher for sale in Denver, or seeking a Miniature Pinscher dog from a breeder in Denver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Denver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Denver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Miniature Pinscher breeders who help with Miniature Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Denver paves the way for another one to be saved.
