Bree's Story...
Thank you so much for your interest in Bree.

A little bit of information on Bree:

Bree's silly grin in spite of her emaciated state won over the hearts of all that met her when she was in animal control. She was abandoned, pregnant and starving roadside. She was obviously a well loved dog at one point. Her house manners are perfect. Bree has been fostered with a cat and a two yr old. She is currently in a foster situation with multiple dogs. She is a gentle quiet girl who is perfection in every way. Bree was able to get under the fence at her foster's home but showed up at the front door within 5 min. Bree loves to snuggle on the sofa and go for long walks. Her energy level is low and she is a very quiet dog. Crate Trained , House Trained, Leash Trained (Walks calmly on lead), Good with Cats, Good with Children, Good with Adults Male and Female, Good with other Dogs Very social - does not want to be left alone., Needs a fence.  Has been known to jump/climb over.

Bree will be coming to our November event at Hale Hill Tree Farm - 815 Glastonbury Turnpike - Portland Connecticut. November 8th and 9th. If you are interested in applying for Bree please visit our website and fill out an application at:

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bree, a Chester Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Chester, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Chester.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chester already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chester breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chester paves the way for another one to be saved.
