Pugsly's Story...
Our Pugsley is not at all like the character from the Addams Family, although he is spunky at times.

Pugsley is a lap dog extraordinaire and will go to great lengths to secure a spot on your lap. He can be a bit snarky with other dogs who try to take his place on your lap, but, in general, gets on well with the other "littles" in our group.

He is interested in other dogs, but prefers the company of people. He is fairly well mannered on walks, and is curious about other dogs he sees.

Pugsley has been cat tested and passed with flying colors.

He is a very cute and fun dog…..bring Pugsley home and you can have bragging rights to living with a celebrity!

Act quickly to adopt Pugsly. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pugsly, a Berkeley Pug/Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug/Beagle for sale in Berkeley, or seeking a Pug/Beagle dog from a breeder in Berkeley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Berkeley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Berkeley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug/Beagle breeders who help with Pug/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Berkeley paves the way for another one to be saved.
