My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

DOB October 1, 2013.

Nina is an adorable, happy little girl who will bring joy and companionship to her lucky forever family. Nina is extremely friendly and social and will spend her day following you from room to room if she can. She purrs easily, head butts and meows for attention or pats. She would be good company for someone who works from home so that she can make up for lost time getting her share of attention.

Nina and her boys came to Toronto Cat Rescue from a hoarding situation, where she very likely had to fight for attention. Her two kittens, Monty and Quinn, have been adopted now but Nina is still waiting for her special someone who will give her the attention she loves.

She came to TCR with a small injury on her back (now healed) and perhaps as a result of that, she is very cautious and sometimes a touch aggressive with new cats and dogs. But with time, Nina grew to get along well with her foster family’s other cats, and even came to tolerate their dog. She is also very good with older children.

Nina is a sweet, funny, affectionate girl. She'd do fine as an only cat with a lot of human attention, or she would adjust to other cats (or a cat friendly dog) with time and patience. This girl is now ready for her forever home, is she the purr-fect new addition to your family!
