Brownie's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and not good with dogs.

Brownie's Story...

Look at the second and third pictures of Brownie-that's him. That's how I picture him-handsome and thoughtful. He's been around long enough to understand the routines and to make the most of them. There are days when I am very tired from a long day of dog walking but want to take Brownie out once more before I leave (because I know he tries to hold it from 5pm til opening the next day). I'll tell him just how it is-"Brownie, I'm taking you out for a quick walk but that's it-no lounging in the play yard because I'm beat and need to go home." I swear Brownie will look me in the eye and say, "No problem. I appreciate you doing this for me." So Brownie can adapt, which is good for us seniors. But don't think he's going to take everything laying down- he will gladly walk you around the grounds several times and still be hoping you will come back later for more. If you come to visit Brownie, give him a kiss on the nose for me.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Brownie, a Fort Myers Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Fort Myers, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Fort Myers.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fort Myers already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fort Myers breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fort Myers paves the way for another one to be saved.
