My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is Libby. I was found by Alamo City behind a church that I was living at. It was really hot outside and I had no water and was sleeping on the hot pavement. They knew I had recently had puppies, but that they were weaned, as my milk had dried up. I think that’s why I was dumped there. My people had new little puppies and didn’t want me anymore. It took a while for me to trust the girl with the yellow hair who was trying to catch me, but she sat on the hot pavement with me and told me that she had just had a baby boy too! I knew she must be a good person if she was willing to do all that she was! She took me to the vet and they said I had heartworms. They said it was really bad and I needed treatment soon. Alamo City found me a fantastic foster with some brothers and sisters. I was very shy at first, but they assured me that the humans here were really nice. I quickly felt safe and, now that I am all healed, I love to run around and play! I potty outside and don’t mind sleeping in my crate. I like my foster family, but I’m ready for a fur-ever home. Libby is spayed, up to date on shots, and microchipped.
