Information

Razzle was a puppy when she initially came into BDRA and was adopted to a wonderful family. Unfortunately, her life was forever changed when her family had a new baby and felt that Razzle deserved more attention than they could share with her. I was fortunate to have been able to re-foster her as I was her original foster mom. Razzle was still the sweet girl we remembered and we felt so blessed to have had a second chance to love her.

Razzle is a very happy girl who loves her people unconditionally. Initially, she can be a bit shy, but once she knows you, she is your friend forever. She is a bit unsure of young children and their sudden movements and would do best in a home without them. She LOVES to play fetch, her favorite toys being squeaky, fuzzy or rubbery. She has a favorite stuffed bear that she has not pulled any stuffing out of, but some other toys are fair game. She is not a chewer, but does fancy remote controls and game controllers - which is easy to remedy when the adults remember to put them away when they are finished with them. She loves playing outside, going for long walks, splashing in the lake, cuddling next to you on the sofa, next to you on the bed or on her own bed near you. She has a protective nature and will only bark when she deems necessary or when you rough-house with her. She also has a bit of a prey drive and will run after small animals, i.e.: birds, chipmunks, bunnies, etc. She can be headstrong, but it is more important to her to please you in any way possible, so she takes correction to heart. She normally walks beautifully on a leash, but occasionally will begin to pull when she is excited or exploring. A quick reminder and she is back near you. She has the best manners and is so lady-like when taking treats or eating meals. She is very gentle. She does not beg at the table and has had no people food, with the exception of peanut butter (which she absolutely loves…frozen or fresh!) She becomes so happy when we arrive home and will cry with excitement. It is the only time she ever jumps up and it is to be welcomed into your arms. She can be picky about her furry friends. While she adores her foster brother, Junior, she does not get along with her other foster brother, William. Should her new family have other dogs, it would be good to have them meet first to ensure they will get along. She would love to have a fenced yard to play in. Razzle is a very special girl deserving a second chance at her forever family. Could that family be yours?
