NORA - see video's Story...
Nora is the girl with a GIANT SMILE and a heart of gold! Just look at that cheese, it's so genuine and contagious. She was picked up as a stray on 10/8/14 and hasn't let her time alone on the streets get her down. As you can see on her video Nora is GOOD WITH OTHER DOGS AT THE SHELTER. Nora is just 6 years old and weighs 60 lbs. She is a tad shy but so sweet and happy. She'll be your best friend 5 minutes in for sure! She will sit when asked and is eager to please. She has obviously had a litter in the past, but she was happy to hear she won't have to go through that ordeal again! She is current on her vaccines and upon adoption will be spayed, heartworm tested and micro chipped. Nora's ID # is 570028 and she can be found in cage 805.

When calling the shelter about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER, the names are oftentimes made up by volunteers.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

NORA - see video, a Marietta Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
