My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

YHABBB (Young Handsome & Affectionate Brindle Bully Boy) looking for a UDKF (understanding, devoted, knowledgeable Family) looking for long term relationship!
My name is Twixie Twix as my foster mommy calls me but you can call me Twix. As you can see, I am an adorable bully boy. I made it out of the Shelter who said I had severe separation anxiety and couldn't go in a crate therefore I wasn't adoptable. Boy did I show them wrong with the help of my foster mommy - in 3 months I am FULLY crate-trained (I love my crate!) and I am also house-trained, and walk on the leash like a perfect gentleman! I have basic obedience and sit and stay for my food & wait before and after doors (something my foster mom has helped me to understand that doors are not bad). I do get a little jealous when she takes my foster brothers without me but when they are out of site I wait patiently for them to come back or if you give me a savory treat I forget all about you until you return (sorry - don't take it personally but treats are so delectable!). I LOVE to people and to please them, including children and just want to be with my humans. I am good with dogs with proper introductions although I am best with dogs my own size or larger (big puppy in a strong body). I get excited when dogs pass me while barking at me as I am pretty sure they want to play but sometimes they scare me so I could benefit from additional training to learn that I should just ignore them and tell them "peace out" when they don't seem so friendly! I live with a kitty but he doesn't seem to understand the way I want to play so I would be best to live without one. I would do best in a home with breed knowledge and no more than one other dog so I can get some QT and good ol' fashion snuggling time with the people I love most. My favorite thing to do outside of being with my humans is SLEEP - I am quite the lazy pup and dread the 2 mile runs my foster mom makes me go on, SUCH hard work I tell ya! I usually only get excited when you come home or it is time to eat (can you blame a boy for getting excited over some kibble!). I am such a great dog that if it wasn't for my two older brothers requiring more attention and being cranky and jealous of a handsome stud like me my foster mommy would keep me for herself but she wants me to find the best match to spoil me for eternity! So, are you the one for me to snuggle with for the rest of my life? If so, please call my foster mommy Melissa at (702) 533.9954.
