My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This spunky little guy was brought into the shelter by an elderly couple who found him near their home. They wished they could keep him but they just couldn't so they brought him to the shelter, looking for a better life. Jose is 5lbs. and 8 months old. He is a fun guy with lots of personality. His little legs move so fast but they are so short, he doesn't really get very far. Jose is friendly and will climb right into your arms for a snuggle and a kiss. If not reclaimed by his owner, Jose will be available for adoption on October 23, from Oceana County Animal Shelter. Please call 231-861-5395. **Ask about adoption transportation assistance if you do not live in the local area.** The adoption fee is $95. All adult dogs will be spayed/neutered and up to date on shots prior to adoption. Puppies receive certificates for spay/neuter and $10 towards rabies vaccine.
