Information

Ty is the sweetest gentleman dog, friendly with everyone. He figures out other dogs, accepting some and warning others if they get to be too much.

According to his owner, he loved their cat and would go look for her if they asked where she was. They also said he learned to play with toys by asking him to go get his "kitty" and I tried that with a tiny pink pig toy and he did love it.

He loves to be cuddled and petted. He will sleep in the bed with you if allowed. Otherwise he sleeps as close to you as he can possibly get, sometimes half way under the bed. While sleeping he will serenade you with assorted grunts, groans, snores, yawns, grumbles, growls, yips, and sighs.

When he sees the leash he goes crazy with excitement about the possibility of an outing. But when you try to walk him he winds himself all around the leash and you, because you are walking him. He settles down after a while.

He loves to go for car rides. Period.

Ty has hearing loss in one ear and vision loss in one eye but he does not let that stop him.

Ty will make whoever decides to adopt him realize how much they need a companion like him, and how much he needs someone like them. He is an absolute jewel of an Aussie.
