My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Young and balanced brindle staffordshire terrier looking for a human. Kiko is approximately 2 years old and weighs just 40 pounds. She came to BrightSide as a stray and judging from the scars on one side of her nose, she hasn't had the happiest of childhoods. Despite that she has a sweet disposition. She is eager for human attention and interaction and fairly smiles to have her head rubbed. She received the rare moniker of Balanced from our trainer. Kiko scored an A in trainability, and A's in sit, stay and recall. She didn't appear to know down or off. She is food motivated and takes treats very softly. Kiko does pull on a leash and we will work with her on that. Curiously, she seems to be really good with cats. This young girl would do well in a home where she could get regular exercise. Basic obedience training with her new human would go a long way to helping her bond. If you think Kiko and you might be a match, please contact us here at BrightSide. She is a great dog.
