Simba's Story...
Simba is a handsome Miniature Pinscher mix 7 months of age with a great golden coat and perky ears. He came to the rescue with his litter mate Nala and is the smaller version and a bit lower key. Simba is neutered and ready to pick a new home. Simba accepts treats gently, will walk on lead and is attentive to humans. He has done well in kennel and should do nicely in a home if kept on a regular schedule. Simba is somewhat timid and should flourish in a quieter home with out small children. He does enjoy toys and cuddling so will want a good balance of activities to complete his day. To meet him just stop into the rescue 11am to 4pm 7 days a week.

If you want to apply for Simba click here. You can then email the application to the Meridian Valley Humane Society. Applications are now being accepted, and a visitation with the dog is encouraged. All applications will be considered and the adoption coordinator will call the person chosen to adopt the dog after the available date.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Simba, a Meridian Miniature Pinscher puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Miniature Pinscher for sale in Meridian, or seeking a Miniature Pinscher puppy from a breeder in Meridian.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Meridian already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Meridian breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Miniature Pinscher breeders who help with Miniature Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Meridian paves the way for another one to be saved.
