Hi there, I’m adoptable Delia! (Deal-ee-yah) Nice to meet you. I’m the new sort of big girl here at NBS Animal Rescue. My rescue friends guess me to be a Shepherd /Golden mix – except I am a little more petite. I’m healthy, and estimated to be 5-6 months old…and guess what? This puppy is 100% potty trained! Yep, pretty impressive – I know. I like to go for walks, wrestle stuffed animals and chase soccer balls outside. I do good with kids, other dogs, and I even play nice with the cat in my foster home.
Did I mention I know “sit, lay down, off, come, stay…and can allllllmost roll over”? I get so excited for tummy rubs, I forget to keep rolling the rest of the way. Sometimes though, I do get a little bit of scared and cry when I am left alone. But – ya know? I am getting better every day with that. I also really enjoy snuggling and keeping your feet nice and toasty by laying on them. If I am invited, I will also be glad to cuddle with you too. My foster parents laugh because I sit like a human. What can I say? I don’t mind relaxing and watching some Netflix at the end of the day either.
Now that I am healthy and happy – I’m ready to find a new home and humans to love and give my loyalty to. Do you know a home that would do the same for me, or could it be with you?

My adoption fee is $250.00 and includes DHPP vaccine, bordatella vaccine, De-worming, spay/neuter surgery, rabies vaccine, heartworm test, heartworm preventative, flea/tick preventative, microchip insertion, bath, nail trim, ear cleaning, leash and collar and one week's worth of food.

You can fill out a simple online adoption application at www.nbsar.org and we will start processing your application right away! We do require that persons interested in meeting me apply online and be approved as an adopter first so please visit our website and submit your application today!
Our adoption process requires that any pet in your household be current on it's vaccinations and heartworm preventative as well as spayed/neutered unless there is a documented medical reason on file with your veterinarian. Dogs must be current on DHLPP, Rabies, and Heartworm Preventative, cats must be current on Distemper, Rabies, and Heartworm Preventative at the time of application.
