My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Eli is going to celebrate his fourth birthday on November 15, 2014. Maybe he will be able to celebrate in his new home!?! He is a handsome blonde little Yorkie; a bit shy at first but totally open to free belly rubs and treats. One look at those big brown eyes and you will be taken.

The Humane Society of New York was founded in 1904 to protect the city's working horses. Today, its clinic and Vladimir Horowitz/Wanda Toscanini Horowitz Adoption Center looks after the health and emotional well-being of every adoption animal. HSNY is a non-kill shelter.

Every animal is micro-chipped, up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed or neutered, and they offer FREE vet care for the first 3 weeks after adoption. TO APPLY, please visit http://humanesocietyny.org/adoptions/ to download the application, then email completed form to sandra.hsny@verizon.net, fax it to (212) 752-2803, or bring it in person to the adoption center.

Our one and only location is: 306 East 59th Street (between 1st & 2nd Avenues) in Manhattan.
Our adoption hours are 10:30AM - 4:00PM, 7 days a week.

If you'd like to sponsor this pet, please email sandra.hsny@verizon.net. Your donation is tax deductible, and 100% will go towards animal programs.
