My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Boots was going to be named Socks based on his four white paws, but politely informed his person that Socks was an insufficiently distinguished name for such a handsome cat. The name of Boots, however, was acceptable. Boots is a mellow boy whose grey coat shines silver in the light. While he does enjoy swatting at feather toys, his favorite thing in the world is to sit next to his person and be petted. Being groomed is a close second, and you will hear his rumbling purr from across the room if he's being brushed. Followed by an indignant look when you stop. Boots is a big boy at 17 lbs - and while he would benefit from losing a bit of weight, his weight fits his frame. This loveable boy was in a home with other, equally mellow cats, and has shown a surprising tolerance for the antics of kittens.
