Delaney's Story...
This sweet boy was rescued from a pretty horrible “hoarding” situation, nearly 100 dogs, many kept in cages 24/7.. he is just the sweetest dog, he is approx 3-4 yrs old and 12 lbs and looks like a schnauzer mix. He has many of the stances and mannerisms of the schnauzer breed. He is very curious and a little timid, but has started to come up to you for some petting. He loves running outside to play in the yard and taking in all of the new smells. He doesn't have a mean bone in his body and gets along with all of the other rescues, he seems to be fairly well house trained and did very well on the leash and at the groomers, he is just a truly beautiful and nice little dog.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Delaney, a Woonsocket Schnauzer (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Schnauzer (Miniature) for sale in Woonsocket, or seeking a Schnauzer (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Woonsocket.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Woonsocket already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Woonsocket breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Schnauzer (Miniature) breeders who help with Schnauzer (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Woonsocket paves the way for another one to be saved.
