Chevy's Story...
Chevy is about 2 years old. He is a pretty mellow guy and would really love to be someone's lap dog. He would do best in a home with children 10 and up because of his size and breed tendencies. He is a very sweet boy who needs a home to call his own for the rest of his life. He seems to keep a clean kennel which is a good sign of being potty trained or at least a step in the right direction. Come in and meet this handsome young chap today.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chevy, a Martinsville Chihuahua/Australian Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Martinsville, or seeking a Chihuahua/Australian Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Martinsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Martinsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Martinsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Chihuahua/Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Martinsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
