Well, hello there! My name is Moxy and I’m an 8 yr. old Shih Tzu mix that weighs about 13 pounds (they say I can stand to lose a couple of pounds, but who doesn’t?). I’m spayed, up to date on vaccines and am micro chipped. I love all the better things in life – sleeping in late (I’m often the last one up in my foster home), sitting on the most comfortable pillow on the couch and contemplating life – my foster family laughs at me when I sit and stare up at the ceiling pondering the big questions. I’m okay with the other dog in my foster home, but am not really sociable with other dogs and young kids – I’d love a home where I get all of the attention - it’s all about me, you know! I’m house trained (I do need to go out during the day), and enjoy walks, though I tend to pull a bit on the leash. I enjoy hanging out with my foster family and will greet them excitedly when they come home, but I’m really not a big cuddler – I want to be near you, but am not really a lap dog. I’m not a big barker - I will bark when someone comes in, and sometimes I make little growly noises – it’s my way of telling you that I want to go out or have something to share with you.
