Chad's Story...
Friendly, playful and happy, he’s going to be a great best friend!
Adorable Shepherd mix Roxie was rescued and adopted--but she had a secret! Roxie was pregnant, and soon gave birth to seven puppies! For Roxie’s mom, adopting one dog was great—but not eight! (Sounds like a reality show, right?) Roxie weighs around 40 pounds, and the puppies are expected to mature to between 40 and 50 pounds. Their mixed heritage provides healthy, well-rounded pups sure to be just right for you!
Boys Chad, Chet, Seth, Davis, Nick, and girls Brooke and Fallon are all absolutely precious! You’re going to be attracted to one of them, but how do you choose? Just meet all of them, and spend some time playing and taking them for walks. One of them is going to be irresistible to you! Whether it is the leader of the pack, or the one whose appearance most appeals to you, you’re going to love your new family member!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chad, a Houston Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Houston, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
