Sonoma's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Sonoma's Story...
This litter of Cocker Spaniel mix pups were being given away in a Walmart parking lot....they were very young and the people wanting to get them did not have their best intentions in mind! Luckily for them one of our Goofy Foot fosters was there and scooped them all up! These pups have now had 2 sets of puppy shots, been dewormed, spayed or neutered and all checked out wonderfully by the vet! They are now about 11 weeks old and will get their rabies vaccine at 12 weeks old. These guys are super social and playful and snuggly! These pups are in foster care in West TN and will be transported once their adoption is finalized. They will be available for transport on 10/31. Here is a link for an app!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sonoma, a Southington Cocker Spaniel/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel/Labrador Retriever for sale in Southington, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Southington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Southington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Southington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Southington paves the way for another one to be saved.
