This is Angel- so aptly named as the sweetest of the crew!
She is timid when you try and leash her and she wants to be in your lap but very afraid when you try and handle her on a leash. Other than that very loving.
She is a WHOPPING 15 pounds and is 5-6 years old-
She and the other three pups were taken from a hoarder. When the rescuers came into the home, the owner caved in and gave us custody.
We have had them SHAVED. They were infested with fleas and ticks, soaked to the bone with urine, feces and the like. Poor babies- they are a little undersocialized- need some help when a loud strange noise happens-
They will do best in a home with no young children.
Little Angel bore the brunt of the neglect, too. Her fur coat was SO matted and skin so afflicted with insect- well we will not go into details. Sofar to say that I will likely have her in caste for a few more weeks before allowing her to go home.
We have had them spayed and vaccinated and de-wormed
they are gaining weight and looking much better.
Thabks to the clan of rescue lasses that volunteer at the rescue- they are angels indeed- for an angel.
Please don't buy dogs from puppy mills- Pet stores buy them and see them for huge profits at the dogs' expenses
