Trent's Story...
Trent...talk about a once in a lifetime kinda guy! This boy is fantastic! A total charmer, this little masked man has a stellar personality. In fact, Trent's awesome temperament helped him win the heart of the vet at the high kill shelter where he came in as a stray. Trent had long hair when he came in to Animal Control but it was so severely matted that shaving him was the only way to make him comfortable. Slowly but surely, this little guy's coat is growing back and he will be even more of a cutie pie when it's all filled in. Between 1-2 years old and approximately 15lbs, Trent is a Lhasa Apso mix who is just the right balance of mischief man and cuddler extraordinaire. He is great with people and happily shares his foster home with other pups, large and small. He also loves romping in the yard where he can carry sticks and chase leaves. Trent is crate trained but he is still perfecting his potty training skills. Trent is neutered, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative and microchipped. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Trent, a Wethersfield Lhasa Apso dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Lhasa Apso for sale in Wethersfield, or seeking a Lhasa Apso dog from a breeder in Wethersfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wethersfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wethersfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Lhasa Apso breeders who help with Lhasa Apso rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wethersfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
