My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello! My name is Luana but you can also call me Lu or Lulu. I am a 1 year-old, 17 pound, female IG mix. We are not sure what the other DNA is, but whatever it is, it makes me just a little more interesting and special. My foster mom says I am on my way to becoming a GREAT dog! I am not shy…I love all humans and dogs I meet. I am so young and full of energy. I love playing with any kind of toy. I amuse myself with a chew stick and play tug and chase with my foster brother. I like children and would be a great friend to a little boy or girl. I am learning to play fetch and will play for hours if you let me. I love going on long walks, but am still learning to walk properly on a leash. My potty skills have gotten quite good if kept on a schedule

When I find myself needing a nap, I am happy to spread out on the couch by myself, but would prefer that you sit with me so I can curl up next to you. I can be crated but don’t really care for it, so I prefer a household where my people will not be gone for many hours every day. I am definitely a “Velcro” dog. I will follow you everywhere. Please don’t pass over me because I am a mix….I am a perfect blend of iggy and whatever—making me a loveable and very loyal companion.
