My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Joanie is one of two rotties DDWTN pulled from our local kill shelter. They were in a group of 7 confiscated from a local breeder who was charged with cruelty. Each dog was examined by a vet when they were taken into the the shelter. Roxie was graded 1.5 out of 9 body condition - VERY emaciated. As you can see, she has gained weight and could stand just a bit more. The vet said she had had a litter of puppies recently. She is aprx. 3 years old. NO CATS, please.
She is very energetic and loves to play. She is alpha so we would prefer to she is in a one dog family. Knowledge of the breed would also be a plus. She has been around older children and is fine. She is currently living in a kennel and is let out daily for a good romp. She loves to sit on your feet (see picture!) and adores a good belly rub. (She will roll on her back to beg for one).

Joanie will be transported from TN to New England upon adoption. We use Alpha Dog Transport and they charge $140 for their services. They have several stops in PA, NJ, CT, VT and ME.

An adoption fee will also apply.
