MAGGIE MAE's Story...
Maggie is between 8 and 10 years old and chihuahua blend who is a delight. Sweet and spunky. She is fine with other dogs once she knows them.. She's a fantastic dog for a senior or senior couple who want someone to take for short walks, to go in the car with them and to cuddle with them. She is a great companion dog. She is built like a bulldog and does have some leg deformities that are similar to dwarfism and luxating patella. But her heart is as big as they come. She does experience some separation anxiety and would do best with someone who is home. Maggie has had surgery to remove some benign mammary tumors. Maggie's adoption fee is $100. To meet Maggie contact J at 435-773-5209.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

MAGGIE MAE, a Hurricane Pug/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug/Chihuahua for sale in Hurricane, or seeking a Pug/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Hurricane.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hurricane already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hurricane breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug/Chihuahua breeders who help with Pug/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hurricane paves the way for another one to be saved.
