for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Kia's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Kia's Story...
Kia is a one year old yorkie looking for a quiet home with an older couple, or perhaps a person who works from home. She was relinquished by her owner because she has a new job with long shifts and cannot give Kia the time she deserves. There are no children in her home and when a neighbor's grandchildren visited, she ran under the bed. Kia weighs aprx. 10 lbs.

Kia is puppy pad trained and we are working on teaching her to go outside. She is spayed and UTD on shots. She loves to sleep in bed and prefers being a lap dog.

Kia is in foster care in east Tennessee and will be transported north upon adoption. We use Alpha Dog Transport. They charge $140 for their services and also hand off all vet records when you claim your pup.

An adoption fee will also apply.

The first step to adoption is completing the application on our main webiste.
www.deaddogswalkingtn.com . A rescue rep will contact you immediately.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kia, a Providence Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier for sale in Providence, or seeking a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Providence.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Providence already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Providence breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier breeders who help with Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Providence paves the way for another one to be saved.
