Here's what the humans have to say about me:
MARIA is a 18 month old neutered black female Lab who weighs 54 pounds. MARIA is a petite girl who is very sweet and friendly. She was a stray to the shelter. She wags her tail around small and big dogs alike. She also seems to be OK with cats, and she is certainly a winner around humans! She was timid at the shelter due to all the noise and funny smells. However, she makes direct eye contact with you and is friendly. She would not accept treats (maybe I should have upgraded my treat selection!) and she seemed OK with the cats in the room… she sniffed them, and they her with nary a harsh woof or meow. She is approved for kids 10+. More info soon!
This dog is available for adoption from Lab Rescue LRCP. The rescue has between 50 ~ 80 dogs available for adoption.
If you are interested in adopting, please visit www.lab-rescue.org and complete an adoption application. Within a few days of submitting an application you will hear from an Adoption Coordinator who will guide you through the adoption process.
An adoption fee is charged to cover the cost of veterinary care and a house check is required.
