Edison's Story...
WOO-HOO! This little guy is ready to experience all that life has to offer! Still a puppy, my energy level is really high and I need a positive outlet. I've heard of these agility classes and I think that's something I could totally get psyched about. I've got the brains and pick up on things quickly. All I need is an owner who is willing to provide training and simulation for my mind and body so that I can be a well-rounded, well-mannered boy. I have not had a lot of socialization so I can be a bit rude and in your face. Giving kisses just gets me so excited. Therefore, I am recommended for homes with children 12 and over. I wouldn't want to knock over or overwhelm any little ones. You want to know something really cool? I know how to fetch, and I am really amazing at it! Yeah, I told you I was smart like that. If you have other dogs, bring them down for play date before deciding to take me home. I want my new doggie buddies to be able to handle my play style and energy level! Come play some fetch with me today! Who knows, we might be the perfect fit!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Edison, a Harrisonburg Australian Cattle Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Harrisonburg, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog puppy from a breeder in Harrisonburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Harrisonburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Harrisonburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Harrisonburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
